Korean Make-up

K-pop, the Korean styled music and culture had seen a rapid expansion of influence in recent years. With the rise of K-pop, it had also bring up the rise of Korean fashion and Korean styled make-up. In the following we will go into some of the most noticeable features and characteristic of a Korean make-up.

Firstly, a very white and pale foundation. As females in Asian region generally have a face shape which goes better with white skins, Korean make-up usually make use of the formation in order to whiten their look.

Secondly, a long and slightly upward eyeliner. The Korean make-up place quite an emphasis on the eyeliner as this make the eye larger and brighter, and this also give the eye a more dynamic shape.

Thirdly, Korean make-up usually come with a bright and sharp red lip gloss. Lastly, a light cover of eyeshadow to finish off the whole make up.

REVIEW: MustaeV 10 Lip Pro Palette

Pink, Red, Deep Red, Deep Red Brown, Bright Orange
Orange, Neutral Brown, Coral, Chocolate Brown, White

After receiving inspiration from Beautifymeeh in her Korean Ulzzang makeup tutorial where she demonstrated a gradient lip with this MustaeV 10 Lip Pro Palette, I set out on my journey of hunting one down. It emptied about $50 from my pockets excluding shipping but in my opinion, it is definitely worth its price because of the sheer, glossy texture that conditions the lips and lasts long after being applied. The slim and compact palette makes for easy transportation and storage thus I am able to carry it with me for touch ups throughout the day. The shades can be used individually or mixed together to customize a new shade but my favourite has to be Coral and Orange.

REVIEW: Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr.

Hello Beauties.
I wanted to begin this blog post talking about the importance of a decent skincare routine. One should feel confident and beautiful in their skin, but for many people this is certainly not the case! For instance I have suffered from moderate to severe acne, which has left some faint scarring in my cheeks. I feel that a great skincare routine can help manage this immensely.

First of all it is important to know your skin type. Either normal, combination to oily, sensitive and/or dry. Kora Organics provide a set package for all skin types. Each of these products are 100% organic, containing no chemicals and only using the goodness of natural ingredients such as avocado, sandalwood and noni. As my skin is very oily, yet is prone to become very sensitive and dry, these products adapted to my skin and gave it a healthy glow without irritating it or making me break out. The cream cleanser had a wonderful creamy texture and the scent was absolutely divine. Despite the very creamy and moisturising texture, the cleanser thoroughly cleaned my skin and left it feeling hydrated and beautiful.

The only negatives about the Kora Organics range is the price and size of the products. Not only did the bottles change, but the size of them did also. The products are now at least 20g smaller and if I am not mistake the price has also increased. These products are probably too expensive for people to use on a regular basis, although there is absolutely no doubt that they are worth every cent.

Always keep in mind that despite the fact that someone may have the same skin type as you, a particular product that works for them may not always be the case for you!

Fashion and Cars

I know what you're thinking. Cars should be left to engineers, and what people wear to fashion designers, but you're completely wrong!

Perhaps sometimes it's not the best idea to have fashion designers make the exterior of the car, but they sure can make the interior look completely amazing. Just one example of this is the Lamborghini Murcielago LP-640 which had its interior designed by Versace. They left the exterior as just black and white, but the leather design and altogether luxurious atmosphere it provides is just mind blowing.

The Lamborghini Interior

The glossy control system, and the Greek fret pattern throughout the leather seats just screams perfection at whoever is lucky enough to sit in one of these Italian beauties.

Another example where the exterior was also impacted by the fashion designer involved is the Range Rover Evoque - Victoria Beckham Edition.

After around two years of having the project given to Mrs Beckham by Land Rover, she unveiled the original car to the world at a gala event in Kensington Palace, July 2010. Although Victoria does say that she wanted to design a car that both her and her husband would drive, I'm not too sure about that. The incredibly glossy exterior give more of a feminine feel to it, but I sure wouldn't mind riding in the passenger seat!

The interior is definitely well designed, with the brown leather seats inspired by the colour of
baseball gloves and usual luxury look that most Land Rovers come with. Although the price is almost double what a non-designer Ranger Rover Evoque would be ($145008.00), if you have the money to spare, it's definitely a very unique and wonderful looking vehicle to own.
